Aim and Ambition

The Association of National Deposit and Return Systems (DRS) for beverage packaging in Europe was founded in 2022. Its aim is to strengthen cooperation between operators of national DRS across Europe by sharing know-how, exchanging experiences, and implementing projects of common interest. Additionally, the association’s ambition is to raise awareness of DRS among European stakeholders, advocate within the frameworks under which DRS operate, and ensure access to accurate, up-to-date information about individual systems through a common website.
