The association of national Deposit and Return Systems (DRS) in Europa for beverage packaging was founded in 2022. The aim of the association is to strengthen the cooperation between operators of national DRS in Europe, sharing know-how, exchange experiences and implementation of projects of common interest. Furthermore, the ambition is to raise awareness of DRS among European stakeholders, including working with the framework DRS’s operate under, and to ensure access to accurate and updated information about the individual systems on a common website.
